The power of material scanning cannot be overstated. It’s the most accurate way to digitally reproduce a physical material and as such consists of taking hundreds and hundreds of photos that are then stitched together to form one continuous texture. This gives us not only the color information, but also the inner detail and the overall reflectivity of the material. When all of this is combined we can be assured the final output is as close to the original as possible.

It was incredibly exciting to be commissioned by Campus&Co to not only create high quality editorial images, but with the desire and enthusiasm to accentuate the most highly accurate material possible for their furniture. The resulting scans are so amazingly detailed they stand at 7 x higher resolution than any other commercially available texture.

The beauty of these images is exuded from both the elegance of the furniture and their carefully sourced and crafted materials.
